Trek Difficulty and Physical Requirements
Manaslu, Circuit trek is a moderate to challenging trek and not suited for beginners. Prior high altitude experience is a must. To ensure a successful trek with the least amount of problems, adequate acclimatization should be accomplished. This trek requires several days of 6-8 hours of strenuous activities with major elevation ascents and descents. No heavy technical climbing is required, but endurance is crucial. This trek provides Larkya La Pass, which is one of the highest elevations of 5,160 meters.

The trek starts with a drive from the Kathmandu Valley along the Budhi Gandaki River toward Machha Khola or Sotikhola, and the terraced farmlands and narrow gorges.
